Journaling Workshop
| Have you wanted to begin journaling?
Have you some writing you have started but haven't finished?
Have you wanted to improve your overall writing skills?
If "Yes" is the answer to one or more of the above, then this workshop is for you!
Journals are helpful for discovering one's inner self; developing creativity; logging life events; solving problems; developing organizational skills; chronicling a life; promoting emotional prespective and enjoyment; setting goals; and building self esteem.
All writing will be in an informal setting with exercises to motivate, guide and instruct as needed.

Life Stories Workshop
| This NEW workshop is designed for those who would like to write about their life or their family's life experiences (and not just the dramatice moments).
Anyone with an interest to tell their stories can easily manage this class. You do not have to be a skilled writer. The workshop will include reasons to write; topics for writing; style and format; and may helpful tips. Several hand-outs and writing exercises will be available.
This workshop encourages reminiscing - to preserve your family's precious heritage.

Writing Mechanics Workshop
| This first time workshop is scheduled for Saturday October 2, 2010. The 5 hour workshop will be held at VegMin Learning.
This workshop is helpful for those who write reports, business letters or complete forms AND also for those who would like to refresh overall writing for their personal use.Areas that will be covered are: punctuation; subject & verb agreement; correct tenses; use of possessive case; sentence structure; pronoun use; and vocabulary.
