Acoustic Guitar - Adult Group Lessons
| The Adult Beginners' Acoustic Guitar class was held in October through to December 2009. We are now accepting names for the next session. The only pre-requisite is that learners are adults and eager to learn to play the acoustic guitar.
The participants will learn basic guitar chords and notes.

| The skilled intructor will guide learners through the Photoshop Element's software.
Learners will learn how to edit their photos using tips and proven techniques.

Art in the Afternoon
| This popular class will begin on October 18th 2010.
The participants in this class have the opportunity to learn basic to advanced techniques using both water color and oil mediums.

Digital Cameras
| The next Digital Camera course will be held soon at the VegMin Learning office.
Participants will be taught 'the basics' on how to operate their digital cameras. The instructor will give tips and techniques to help the learners take better photos.
This new instructor has facilitated this course with other communities and it was reported that all learners were pleased with what they learned & reported they are now more confident in their ability to use their cameras.

Intro to Acrylic Painting
| The next class will begin on September 15, 2010. There will be 6, 2 hour sessions and be held at VegMin Learning.
The instructor guides the participants through basic to advanced techniques using acrylics as a medium.
In previous classes, participants were pleased with what they learned and excited about learning more!

Joy of Drawing
| This course is for those who wanted to try their hand at learning to draw. The next class is slated to be in the Springl of 2011.
Learners will have the opportunity to explore a variety of basic techniques and components such as: lines, negative and positive spaces, perspective, light and shadow, and porportion. Emphasis will be placed on the enjoyment of drawing the 'still life' around you.

Sculpture Workshop
| This NEW workshop is scheduled for Monday September 27, 2010 at the Ranfurly Ag. Society building.
This one evening workshop will give you a glimpse of working with polymer clay, otherwise known as fimo, sculpty or promat.
The experienced instructor will guide you through techniques using simple tools such as knitting needles, exacto knife, paring knife, dental tools, eye make up application pads, etc.
Everyone should be able to leave the workshop with a unique caricature portrait.

Willow Chair
| This exciting class was scheduled for Saturday April 24th, 2010. Unfortunately, the instructor had a family emergency and the class was cancelled - we hope to reschedule this for the fall.
The last session was very successful with the participants, with the help of a friend, completing their projects before the end of the day. They were excited to gain the confidence, knowledge and skills to try other projects on their own.
