| | VegMin Learning Society is a non-profit organization funded by Alberta Advanced Education, Community Programs.
VegMin Learning Society Council consists of agencies and members of the community who are dedicated to lifelong learning and offering quality non-credit courses in Vegreville and the County of Minburn.

Citizenship Preparation Classes
| We are now taking names of those interested in participating in this NEW class.
The new instructor has developed a cirriculum that will assist the newcomers to understand the terminology and content of the study guide.

Community Portal - a great communication tool for Volunteer Non Profit Organizations.
| Did you know that there is a Community Portal in Vegreville?
October 2008 VegMin Learning brought one to the area.
This portal www.aroundvegreville.com is for non-profit, volunteer organizations within the area to be able to have a web presence at a reasonable cost.
If your non-profit, volunteer organization would like to learn more, call 780-632-7920 and we'd be happy to explain the benefits of the portal to you.

News: tuition tax credits
| We are now able to provide official tax receipts for learners to claim the fees paid to VegMin Learning Society for the purposes of the tuition, education and textbook tax credits provided that the fees toal more than $100 and qualify for tuition expenses. Additionally the learners must be 16 years before the end of the year and the course/program supplied must provide the learner with sufficient skills to enable them to work or improve their skills in a recognized occupation.
(We can not guarantee that the Canada Revenue Agency will atuomatically accept receipts for all courses or programs offered.)

Video Conferencing at VegMin Learning
| We just received confirmation of our sessions for 2012 - note that classes marked with a VC are video conference sessions.
