VegMin Learning Society is a non-profit organization funded by Alberta Advanced Education, Community Programs.

VegMin Learning Society Council consists of agencies and members of the community who are dedicated to lifelong learning and offering quality non-credit courses in Vegreville and the County of Minburn.

FIT Testing

This is a NEW safety course offered by VegMin Learning.

A certified trainer will help your business determine the effectiveness of the repiratory protection used at your work site.

This is a course that pertains to those industries where any type of face masks are worn to protect employees from dust, chemicals, gas, etc. Some of the industries could be - construction; gas; welding; oil; farming; etc.

Life Stories Workshop

This NEW workshop is designed for those who would like to write about their life or their family's life experiences (and not just the dramatice moments). The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, September 27th, 2008 from 9 am to 3:30 pm. There will be a one hour lunch break - participants will be responsible for supplying their own lunch.Anyone with an interest to tell their stories can easily manage this class. You do not have to be a skilled writer. The workshop will include reasons to write; topics for writing; style and format; and may helpful tips. Several hand-outs and writing exercises will be available. This workshop encourages reminiscing - to preserve your family's precious heritage.
